COVID-19 Updates

Public Service Announcement on Funerals and COVID-19

We, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, have been closely monitoring the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. The health and public safety of the community that we serve, and our staff, has always been a top priority and concern. The CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) has issued guidance to funeral homes through the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) and our Tennessee Funeral Directors Association (TFDA) to strongly encourage social distancing, asking anyone who is experiencing any type of cold or flu like symptoms or individuals with compromised immune systems to please refrain from visiting the funeral home and to please use proper hand washing /sanitizing methods at all times. We want to reassure everyone that we are still here to serve you in accordance with the CDC.  We are taking our already diligent cleaning procedures to another level to ensure that all public spaces within the funeral home are disinfected/sanitized to the best of our ability.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. We feel we need to do our part in doing what is asked of us in helping to contain the spread of this very contagious virus by implementing social distancing.  These are uncharted waters for us all. May God bless and keep you. Please stay healthy!
