Patricia "Patty" Ann Martin

Patricia “Patty” Ann Martin, age 50, of Goodlettsville, TN was called home suddenly on Friday, September 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1962 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio to Ollie B. and Mable Fern Cordial Chapman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, Ollie, Jr., Donald & John Chapman; sister, Ida Belle Chapman Warner; sister-in-law, Linda Chapman; brother-in-law, David Tufts; father-in-law, Richard E. Martin. She lived her life with a tremendous passion. She served the Lord and her church with love and passion. She loved working with children, cooking, working in her flowers and making crafts. She was the Director for the Parents Day Out Program and also worked in the Before and After school program at Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Scott Martin, Goodlettsville, TN; daughters, Alishia Music (Fiancé Torin Shepherd), Plain City, Ohio, Chantana (Ryan) Martin Kimbler, West Jefferson, Ohio, McKenzie Martin, Goodlettsville, TN; granddaughters, Ella Holsinger, Audra Shepherd, Keira Kimbler, Kali Kimbler; mother-in-law, Margie Martin, Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Ernest (Helen) Chapman, Bill Chapman, , Orville (Charlotte) Chapman, Lee (Wendy) Chapman, Paul (Becky) Chapman; sisters, Nancy (Gary) Underhill, Juanita (Ray) Martin, Betty (Darrell) Cordle, Mary (Mike) Brown, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Annette Chapman Galloway, Judy Chapman, John Warner, Jeffrey Martin, Ronald Martin, Donald & Cheri Martin, Janelle Tufts, Jenna & Jim Webb; many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life at Bethel Baptist Church, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at 2PM with Rev. Alec Cort officiating. A visitation with the family will follow from 3-7PM at Bethel Baptist Church. There will be a ‘Time of Sharing and Remembrance’ of the life of Patty Martin at 7PM following the visitation on Tuesday at the church with Rev. Alec Cort officiating.
