Marianne Corso, age 84 of Greenbrier passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Stone Ridge Health Care in Ridgetop, TN. No services are planned. She was born February 4, 1937 n Nurnberg, Germany to the late Josef and Appolonia Scherer Russer who was killed in their home country during WWII. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Corso, Jr and a sister, Gretchen Soriente. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a butcher in food service. She loved her family and was proud to be an American citizen. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She is survived by her children, Joseph John Corso of Amityville, NY, Michael Anthony (Helen) Corso of Commack, NY, Nanette (Jeff) De Senso of Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren, Joseph, Jaclyn, Kristin, Leanne, Jenna, Alexia, Peyton; great-grandchildren, Koby and Bentley.
