ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO AUSTIN & BELL 533 Highway 76 White House, TN 37188 (615)672-5000 www.austinandbell.com This poem was written by Wanda Dugan Tribute to Our Music Man James Emmett From a child Jim loved the mountains, trees, fields, and woods, And going fishing, duck and squirrel hunting any time he could.Who can fill the shoes of this remarkable talented man? We know no other at this time who can. He had a divine heavenly gift that brought joy to us all, Jim was there when needed at the slightest call. He was there for birthdays, weddings, and funerals too, For each occasion he knew just what to do. A number of years ago he met his sweet Lilly-B, She came from a little town called Big Sandy in Tennessee. After years of marriage they wanted an addition to the family tree, So they made a trip to West Virginia a precious little boy to see. He brought them joy and happiness thru the years, He was there to support them in fair weather and in tears. This dedicated music man was one of three, They were wonderfully called to sing for it was destined to be! They blessed the church with songs they sung, Carefully chosen by this dear talented son. He sang with many people throughout the years He cherished each one, to Jim they were dear. He will trade his guitar for a robe and crown, And be rewarded for blessing souls who were down. Like King David who sang and played his harp, In the world of music Jim was annointed and smart. Next time we see him he will be singing in heaven's choir, His new robe and crown will be his attire.Although we search far and wide, Jim, for another to fill your shoes, We could never find another to tell in song the good news like you! Rest Bro. Jim by your sweet Lilly-B Until we meet you in the morning by the crystal sea!
