Douglas Ray Stubblefield, age 59 of Greenbrier passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at his residence. Arrangements entrusted to Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 2619 Hwy 41 S., Greenbrier, TN. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm Thursday, January 30th and 10am to 2pm on Friday, January 31st at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier. The funeral service will be at 2pm on Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Steve Sorrels and Rev. Don Sensing officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery. Doug was born February 12, 1960 in Springfield, TN to the late Harold Douglas Stubblefield and Willie Faye Jones Stubblefield. He was a Wastewater Treatment Operator for the City of Greenbrier and a member of the Greenbrier United Methodist Church. He loved Greenbrier and was a big Greenbrier Bobcat fan and a member of the Greenbrier Athletic Club. He loved fishing, horses and riding his tractor. He loved his family and being “Popsie” to his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Suzie Thomas Stubblefield; mother, Willie Faye Jones Stubblefield; daughters, Lauren E. Tisdale, Renee N. (Michael) Treadaway; granddaughters, Samantha Tisdale, Isabella Tisdale, Avery Tisdale, Alexis Tisdale; cousins who were just like sisters, Jimmie Gale Baggett and Diane (Jimmy) Pogue. Pallbearers will be Bart Krisle, Wayne Choate, Phillip Burr, Barry Pendergrass, Ross Pendergrass, Jody Dorris, Blake Dorris and Tommy Porter.
