Ruby Mae Krantz

Ruby Mae York Krantz, age 84 of Pleasant View, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 oclock pm on Friday, August 4th at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Brother Dylan Proctor and Chaplain David Winningham officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9:00am until the hour of Service at 12:00am. Mrs. Krantz was born in Macon County, Tennessee on July 17, 1933 to the late Jefferson Eugene and Beulah Pearl Wright York. She was a seamstress, a member of Tenn quilters and a member of Joelton Church of the Nazarene. Along with her parents, Mrs. Krantz was preceded in death by her husband, John Earlin Krantz; siblings, Earl Bedford York, Anna Dee Sullivan, Frances Lee Hargrove, Beulah Jean Buttrey, Josephine Wright, Geraldine Wright, Lela Mary Travis; son, Randle Earlin Krantz; daughter, Kathy Mae Chandler; and grandson Charles Edwards Chandler, Jr. She is survived by, her daughter, Janelle Krantz of Pleasant View; brother, Les C. York of Charolette; sister, Erskin Lola (Dale) Rice of Smyrna; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View assisted the family with these arrangements.
