Patricia Ann Marlatt

Patricia Ann West Marlatt, age 68, entered rest, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her residence in Greenbrier, TN after an extended illness. She was born in Middlesboro, KY the daughter of William Clyde West and Mary Ruth Wagner West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Howard West. A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015, 4PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel with Bro. Steve Carter officiating. She formerly worked as the General Manager of a Bowling Alley. She was a friendly and loving person who had a beautiful and infectious smile. She loved needle point, baking and decorating cakes, cooking and bowling. Most of all she loved and cherished her husband, children and grandchildren. She was actively involved with her children in every way and never missed any of their activities. She was a person who exhibited her affection and love for everyone and called herself a hugger. More important than this, she was always a true example of love to her family and others. She loved gospel and country & western music, but her favorite performer was her son Matt. She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, George Marlatt. They were married on April 29, 1967. She is also survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Matt & Jennifer Marlatt, Murfreesboro, TN, Adam Marlatt, Buford GA, & Michael & Lou Ellen Marlatt, Shiloh, IL; daughter & son-in-law, Mary Ann & Jonathan Jackson, Hendersonville, TN; brothers, David (Barbara) West, Lima, OH, Ed (Sondra) West, Lima, OH, Joe (Debbie) West, Frankfort, KY, Mike West, Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren, Laura Catherine & Lane Marlatt, Parker & Grayson Marlatt, Savannah & Ethan Jackson, & Kensley Marlatt. Friends may visit with her family on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2-4PM prior to the service.
