Diane Sanders

Diane M. Culbertson Sanders, 60, of Greenbrier TN, passed away with her loving husband by her side on Sunday at her home. Born in Corning, NY, on October 20, 1960, Diane was the eldest daughter of the late Ivan L. and Ruth H. Culbertson. She grew up in Cameron Mills, NY, and graduated in 1978 from Addison Central School. She went on to work at Metamora Products, in Elkland, PA, for the next 11 years. In 1989, she moved to Tennessee for a new adventure and became employed as a nanny to the Peninger family. She helped to care for two beautiful young ladies, Emily and Mary, whom she loved and cherished deeply. She took great joy in talking about them and their many accomplishments throughout the years. Later in life, Diane was employed at the LaVergne Library, La Vergne, TN, Connor Trucking Company and Tennessee Speed Sport, Goodlettsville, TN, in their accounting department. In her free time, Diane enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Diane was a dedicated wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She will always be remembered for her kindness, independence, caring nature, and contagious laughter. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her husband, Michael Sanders of Greenbrier, TN; three sisters Dolores (Alan) Crooker, Savona, NY; Darline (Michael) Culbertson, Hornell, NY; Denise Brown (Hammondsport, NY); Nieces and Nephews Gregory (Heidi) Crooker, Savona, NY; Kreg Crooker, Savona, NY; Michele Culbertson, Bath, NY; Stephania (John) Wallace, Cohocton, NY; Justin (Karen) Brown, Atlanta, GA; Great nieces and nephews Lauren Crooker, Savona, NY; Carter Crooker, Savona, NY; Ivan Culbertson, Bath, NY; Ainsley Wallace, Cohocton, NY; Grayson Wallace, Cohocton, NY; extended family Roger (Sandra) Peninger, Nashville, Tennessee; Maria (Paul) Sutej, Atlanta, GA; Emily (Dominic) Peninger, Chicago, IL; Mary (Conrad) Quinones, Atlanta, GA. this time, no services are being held.
