Donna Holman Henry

Donna Holman Henry, age 75, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 oclock am, Tuesday, March 20th, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Cross Plains with Bro. Russ Noss and Bro. Bruce Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Gavin Henry, Ed Coleman, Brandon Jones, Chris Morris, David Head, Jimmy Pitt, and Samuel Osborne serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Odds & Ends Sunday School Class, the Wednesday Night Prayer Group, and the Stone Soup Ministry Team, all of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00PM Monday, March 19th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield and again on Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church beginning at 9:30AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM. Mrs. Henry was born on September 16, 1942 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Eugene and Catherine Morris Holman. She was a retired Robertson County school teacher and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Kay Holman. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Phil W. Henry; son, William (Nancy) Henry and daughter, Leigh Anne (Corey) Blick, both of Cross Plains; sister, Kathy Jones Morris of Okatie, South Carolina; and grandchildren, Gavin Henry, Hanna Wright, Ashlyn Wright, and Jaylan Blick.
