Frances Nora Riley Baker

Frances Nora Riley Baker, age 91, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Ridgetop, TN at her daughter's home.

She was born February 5, 1922 in Decatur County, Tennessee to Herbert Lee Riley and Anna Casander Dickson Riley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Sarce Price and Basil Baker; daughter, Carolyn Ann Baker, brother, Charles Riley; granddaughters, Rachel Austin & Valerie Baker.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, 10AM with Pastor Kenneth Price and Pastor Jeremiah Smart officiating at Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel.

She was a member of Ridgetop Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 45 years. She loved quilting, cooking, & making ceramics. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a kind and caring woman who loved her family, church and friends. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Betty Price, Cedar Grove, TN & David & Shirley A. Baker, Gallatin, TN; daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Jim Dempsey, Ridgetop, TN; brother, J. D. Riley, Camden, TN; sister, Peggy Button, Smyrna, TN; 7 grandchildren, Kenneth Price, Jr., David Baker, Jr, Joshua Lee Baker, Cynthia Hewbert, Debbie Glover, Sherri Knight, Cassandra Cassidy; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, 3-8PM and on Thursday, 9-10AM the time of the service. The Graveside Service and her final resting place will be at 2:30PM on Thursday in Sugartree, Tennessee at Wesson's Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 2:30PM for the interment. Family will serve as pallbearers.
